Notes
Issued 1950-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Tipper finished in light blue and red, with a red fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 26cms x 9cms. approx.
Complete with spare wheel stowed behind the cab. Delightful ‘Shackleton Toys’ transfer is complete. Model looks barely used. ‘Foden’ transfer is complete too. What a find!
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. Some wear as you might expect (rubbing and edge scuffs).
Original tools and leaflet too.
