Notes
A guaranteed authentic example of this rare French Dinky promotional model.
An all original example of the promotional Citroen H Van finished in mid-blue with aluminium concave wheels and complete ‘BAROCLEM’ transfers throughout.
Exceptionally difficult piece to find in any condition, this model is very near mint.
Correct tyres with light tread are well-shaped.
Just a couple of tiny marks to the paint finish and the occasional little tarnished spot on the base.
Note that this example is correct in all respects with the correct tyres, correct hand-painted silver details on the cab step, correct that the the central post is not fully painted, and the door interior is not painted either.
The colourful and distinctive picture box impresses with a crisp, fresh feel showing minimal handling. Day-one bright colours. Minor wear i.e. a little end flap edge ruffling and a very small tear at an end flap seam. The tuck-in crease of one large end flap section has a scuff but not a tear.
Extremely scarce is this outer BAROCLEM Battery Box, although note it does lack the ‘terminals’. A little edge marking besides.
