A sought-after example of this attractive Gerry Anderson’s Thunderbird model!
This Fab 1 model has a gleaming paint finish and jewelled headlights. Both figures of Lady Penelope and Parker are seated inside. Correct canopy for this late issue i.e. no pink lines. The canopy glides well. Number plate at rear only (no signs of a front number plate ever having been applied). Intact radiator emblem, six jewelled headlights, and correct silver baseplate/bumpers. Detailed five stud cast wheels are correct for this issue.
Couple of negligible marks to the pink paint finish. In all original condition.
Note the printed details:
“The original Fab 1 can be seen at Heathfield Wildlife Park, East Sussex”.
The plinth is bright and complete. Tiny marking caused by the wheels. Little tear at one short lid end and tape on this site. Original bag is still taped to the plinth and contains the correct 2 yellow missiles as well as four red harpoons.
The original bubble lid is notably clear and intact.
