Notes
A most displayable example of this classic Dinky commercial made in 1955. Second type orange cab and chassis, green back and hubs, bright baseplate, large hook and spare wheel. 20 m.p.h. sign at rear.
Barely any chips to the paint finish, although there is a touch-in at cab roof corner, some wheel arches and a little head-on at the sides of the radiator grille. The paint on the truck bed is a little mottled.
The box is the scarce transition issue which marked the re-numbering of this model from 502 to 902. It is clean with no graffiti. Split at one side, minor wear and a little rusting at the staples. Box lid is dated 1955.
