Corgi 1113
Corgi 1113 Corporal Guided Missile Erector Vehicle. Early metal cog issue. Very near mint/boxed. With packing, including original paper pieces which protect the missile (rare to find with this packing)! Leaflet. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
A detailed and impressive military model issued between 1959-62, with a movable boom which can elevate to vertical so that the missile can be lowered onto the launching pad (available separately at the time). Early metal cog issue (later plastic cogs would be used instead). This example elevates well. Intact percussion head. Spare wheel in place – often missing.
The original card packing pieces are complete and fresh-looking. Note the small paper strips which protect the missile too. Rare find.
Occasional little mark only. A few stray dabs of paint.
The attractive pictorial lift-off lid box is clean, complete and vividly-coloured. Barely any wear. Very fresh and vibrant. Period price label on a lid end. Owner has dated his purchase (1965).
