Notes
Issued between 1961-62, this early version has an original vivid red and black finish, yellow interior and flat spun wheels. Well-shaped original tyres and a silver-grey base.
Complete ‘Midland Red’ transfers on both sides, Birmingham-London paper labels as well as ‘London Motorway Express’ label on the destination board above the cab.
Corgi period accessory number plates have been added. Hard to find a mark to the paint finish.
The early lift-off lid box is complete, fresh, vividly-coloured. A pleasing example. Early ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership Form included.
