Dinky 514
Dinky 514 Guy Van "SLUMBERLAND". Near mint plus/boxed, with red U.S. Export Label. From The 25 Year Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1950-52, this model has a vivid red lustrous original paint finish with complete detailed transfers on both sides and above the cab roof.
Presents well:
There is a chip at a front wheel arch and the usual little marking at the rear doors. One of the original smooth tyres has a little flat spot (often the case when it has been in a fixed position for a long time).
Base is bright.
The early powder blue box has strong colours and a complete, vivid paper label. Star within a circle is stamped on the lid. Minor wear/grubbiness and a tear to the underside of the box base. Rusty staples.
