Dinky 100
Dinky 100 Lady Penelope's Fab 1. Very near mint/boxed. Sought-after early issue in non-fluorescent pink, with pink roof stripes. With original clear plastic packet still stapled to the card inner. From The QDT Vault.
Notes
Inspired by the Gerry Anderson Thunderbirds T.V. series from the ’60’s. This Fab 1 model is finished in *non-fluorescent pink, with pink stripes on the sliding roof. Version with small circular detail on the wheels and a more protruding central section.
Gold interior and both original seated figures of Lady Penelope and Parker. It comes complete with an intact bonnet emblem, jewelled headlights and complete front & rear number plates.
The Fab 1 has the occasional tiny mark. Presents very well indeed.
The sliding roof moves well although has a light ‘bowing’ on one rear side. The car comes complete with a firing rocket and four rear harpoons still in the (opened) clear plastic packet.
The colourful card stand is bright, clean and complete. Very small wheel slot tear and light wear.
The pictorial card box is clean, fresh and brightly-coloured. Very nice! Small tear to the vulnerable tuck-in area of one of the large end flaps. Small corner crumple.
One of the most sought-after Gerry Anderson inspired Dinky models!
