A scarce and popular Corgi Gift Set_.
The set comprises:
1) Corgi 318 Mini Cooper ‘S’ in bright red finish with a white roof, jewelled head and spotlights, complete racing number ‘52’ on both sides (few tiny background edge nicks). Complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot. Shaped spun wheels with suspension. Very near mint.
2) Corgi 322 Rover 2000 in lustrous metallic maroon finish with a white roof, notably complete Monte Carlo labels on boot. Bonnet label has a couple of really tiny edge nicks. Complete racing number ‘136’ on both doors (couple of background edge nicks). Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled headlights and “Trans-O-Lite” lights. Few little paint chips. Near mint.
3) Corgi 323 Citroen DS19 in pale blue finish with a white roof. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled lights, intact aerial on the roof. Complete racing number ‘75’ on both sides, intact rally labels on bonnet, tiniest nick on boot label. Very near mint.
The colourfully-illustrated detailed card plinth on which each car sits is extremely fresh, clean and bright – one of the best we have seen. A beautiful decorative backdrop for the models. Original card packing support piece in the base of the plinth. No wheel slot tears. As nice as you could wish!
