Dinky 441 'CASTROL' Tanker. Very near mint/boxed (dual-numbered). Issued during 1954. From The Brighton Collection.
Notes
Distinctive mid-green finish on this all original Studebaker Tanker. Bright and complete CASTROL lettering on both sides (couple of tiny lower edge nicks to the white background at both sides).
Fine silver trim, including the roof details save for the tiniest rub to one. (usually the first to get rubbed by the box). Little rub to the paint above on side window ledge.
All four original tyres run well (no flat spots).
The dual-numbered box is complete and bright. Light wear/grubbiness. Tiny tear.
Issued during 1954, this box marks the transition from the older numbering (30PA) to 441.
