Earliest version of the Bedford Refuse Wagon in fawn with green tinplate shutters and no window glazing, red wheels.
The mechanisms for tilting the backs work well, and all four are intact with moving tin plate shutters and opening rear shutters. Condition varies from near mint plus – very near mint. Bright baseplates.
The shopkeeper’s buff trade box is bright and complete. Light wear – condition belies its age. Complete with the little card dividers too.
Faint writing has largely been erased on the lid with the shopkeeper’s individual price for the contents remaining. Very small surface tear. Minor edge rubbing and wear. Included are three Dinky dividers which help to keep the items apart in the box, although perhaps not from this set.
