Notes
Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor unit with trailer has a vivid glowing red finish, shaped spun wheels, clean and complete paper labels throughout and a bright blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
Several little chips mostly on one side – at wheel arches and as a result of opening and closing the hinged doors (nearly always the case) and the occasional very small mark besides. Both wing mirrors are present although the little ‘reflective’ pieces are no longer present. The item comes with the full complement of six grey horses.
The card plinth is bright and has a crisp feel.
Little staining caused by the model and note that both pull tabs are firmly in place, although lacking a small piece. A little wear besides.
Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing sleeve – so often discarded.
Rare to find with the small card packing piece too.
The outer box is strongly-coloured and complete. A few small seam tears. Light wear besides.
