Corgi Gift Set 11

Notes

Issued between 1971-72, this desirable London Transport Gift Set comprises:
1) Corgi 418 Taxi, in gloss black finish. In virtually mint condition.
2) Corgi 468 Routemaster Bus ‘OUTSPAN’. In unused condition, this detailed bus has complete labels/transfers throughout and includes both a driver and conductor. A few small marks.
3) Corgi 204 Mini, in an attractive metallic blue finish. In virtually mint condition.
Policeman on point duty, with his white arm bands, directing the traffic on top of a plastic circular stand.

The polystyrene inner is bright and intact.
The outer window box is complete and bright, with intact smooth original cellophane. Small handling tear and light age/handling wear besides. Period U.S. price label at an end flap.
An unusual Gift Set issued for just a short time by Corgi, and aimed at the tourist market.
