Notes
This sought-after early Corgi Gift Set made between 1960-64 comprises:
1) Corgi 456 ERF 44G Dropside Lorry in lemon and metallic blue with cement load (Corgi 1488). Matt base and fine original tyres, including the spare stowed on the underside. Note the wheels have the Corgi Accessory wheel trims applied. Marking to the paint finish particularly where the load rests understandably.
2) Corgi 101 Platform Trailer in matching colours with a swivelling cast drawbar. Cream coloured detachable plank load (Corgi 1485). Chipping at exposed edges/vulnerable points.
Both items sit atop a card plinth. Vividly-coloured and crisp with barely any wear. Hard to find this good.
The outer card box is colourful and complete. Tear to one larhe end flap and light wear besides.
