Dinky 40B
Dinky 40B Triumph 1800 Saloon. 1st casting, mid-blue issue. Near mint/never boxed individually. From The Brighton Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1948-49, this is a scarce 1st type casting Triumph model finished in mid-blue, railed baseplate with small print and the rear axles are correctly secured by cast pillars. Note the early feature of the extra casting detail visible through the rear side windows which in turn create the pillars which retain the rear axle.
In all original condition.
Shiny base/axles and the smooth original tyres are supple and run well.
Very few little marks to the lustrous original finish.
Very nice and scarce example!
