This James Bond Aston Martin is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. Looking unused and barely handled, this example has a close to mint, all original, vivid glossy gold finish.
Suspension is fine on all four wheels. Bright spoked wheels. Fine tread original tyres are well-shaped.
A little surface rub mark on the roof edge and a few tiny marks besides. A few little marks to the base.
The 1st issue card plinth (i.e. without arrow on the red section where the model is placed) is clean, bright and crisp. Couple of small wheel slot tears.
Plenty of appropriate artwork on the reverse, too:
The Instruction Packet has been opened (small tear) and we have checked to see that it is complete with all accessories (badge, Instruction Leaflet and spare villain).
Secret Instructions Leaflet (detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders – all have been tested and work perfectly).
The 1st issue outer box is brightly-coloured and clean. Crisp feel. Note that since it is 1st issue, there is no shading detail around the lettering ASTON MARTIN DB5 on the box face and no thick black border around the JAMES BOND’S lettering, too. Very small internal end flap tear. No loss of colour vibrancy. Period price label on an end flap. Small scuff.
