What a fine Dinky model this is – and surely one of the nicest to come out of the French Dinky factory. This version was produced between 1954-59, before its re-numbering to FD575 in 1959. A beautiful and unused example with a sleek deep blue finish and painted ridged wheels.
The distinctive lettering and green French map logo are perfect on one side, very nearly so on the other (tiny line through the letter ‘A’ of ‘Francais’). Probably factory.
Hard to find a mark anywhere else! Under a strong light and with minute examination, a faint scratch may be seen and there are a couple of small marks – but really this articulated truck is as nice as you could wish!
The box is clean and complete with all end flaps, although there is some rubbing at edges.
A classic Dinky model which displays so well!
