Notes
This late issue in the Rainbow window box is an especially difficult find.
1) Corgi 438 Land Rover. This version has suspension on Whizzwheels. Intact labels. Includes Dr. Marsh Tracy (with stethoscope), Judy The Chimp and tiger. Very near mint.
2) Corgi 503 Bedford Giraffe Transporter. With the two giraffes and original card packing. Detailed cast wheels and since this is the last issue, the rear wheels are recessed and correct without wing mirrors. Note that there is no aperture formed in the side windows for the wing mirrors. Last issue, therefore without the troublesome wing mirrors which were prone to break! Complete labels on both sides. Virtually mint!
3) Corgi 483 Dodge Truck ‘Kew Fargo’. Detailed cast wheels. In very, very near mint condition with complete labels throughout. Both original elephants are included with original card packing.
Complete with Paula and Clarence The Lion – with spectacles. Note figure is still banded to the lion,
All items are housed in a very fresh and clean polystyrene inner.
The last issue *Rainbow style window box is colourful and clean, with intact original cellophane window.
Part-thickness seam tear at one large end flap seam (lower right) . Some edge/handling wear besides including a couple of very small end flap tears. Box reverse has a period ‘Woolworths’ Price label.
