Notes
The first we have ever offered for sale.
A virtually mint example of this very rare late issue. We assume this was the last issue made and this is the first example we have ever offered for sale.
This Batboat has a plastic fin with figures of Batman and Robin seated inside. Note the ‘BATMAN’ labels on the plastic fin. Note these labels are the same as the Corgi Junior Batcopter. Perfect condition.
Complete paper label on both sides of the boat. Intact chrome cockpit and blue glass windscreen. Gold trailer. Whizzwheels.
The card and cellophane box is clean, fresh, complete and brightly coloured. Crisp! Looks like an old shop stock item. Intact original cellophane window. Note the little wear to one side of the card inner where the tow hook rests. There is always a cut-out in the card for this section but the tow hook and ‘enlarged’ it somewhat and there are a couple of little tears at this site.
This box issue has corgi in lower case and small print ‘For ages 3…’
DC Comics Inc 1976 printed on reverse.
