This James Bond Aston Martin is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. Vivid, glistening gold finish.
Suspension on all four spoked wheels. Fine tread original tyres are well-shaped.
Faintest of roof rubs (due to box contact) and a few tiny marks besides.
The 2nd issue card plinth (i.e. with arrow on the red section where the model is placed) is clean, bright and crisp with vibrant colours. Fresh with no wheel slot tears.
The Instruction Packet is incomplete now, but contains the Instruction Leaflet and spare villain (no badge).
Secret Instructions Leaflet (detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders – all have been tested and work perfectly). Gold-colour to the screen shows that this screen has rarely been raised and lowered.
The 2nd issue outer box is a superb example. Note that since it is 2nd issue, there is shading detail around the lettering ASTON MARTIN DB5 on the box face and a thick black border around the JAMES BOND’S lettering, too. Crisp, showing minimal handling. Price at an end flap has been scribbled over at some time.
