A rare early model to come to the market-place, and especially difficult to find boxed.
Issued between 1962-66, this Swiss export model has a striking deep yellow and black finish, with virtually perfect – perfect ‘PTT’ transfers at the sides. Early issue without opening doors, no glazing, silver (not jewelled) headlights, spun wheels. Shiny base and well-shaped original treaded tyres.
Pleasing lustre.

In all original condition with barely a mark.
The plain yellow card box has the correct print i.e. ‘Auto Suisse VW’ and ‘Schweizer Postauto VW’ at an end flap. Bright and crisp with minor wear and a small area of surface loss at an end flap due to the partial removal of a price label
