Corgi 1110

Missing from most collections, this scarce Dutch promotional model was made for a short time between 1965-67. Never for sale to the general public. Corgi 1110 is finished in a distinctive shade of mid-blue and white with fine and complete original transfers on both sides and at the rear notably.
Shiny shaped spun wheels and fine original tyres. Baseplate is shiny.

A few little marks at the expected vulnerable points ( i.e. at a wheel arch where the tanker swivels) and the occasional side raised ‘rib’ rub. Minute and careful scrutiny reveals a dab of extra white paint at an exposed point.
This distinctive flip-top lid presentation box is clean and bright! Small repaired tear to one of the light blue sides and light wear.

Notably all 3 packing card pieces are present.

The owner has included a reproduction promotional leaflet which tucks into the little triangular white card piece on the interior surface of the lid (for interest only).
