This type 2 version of the Petrol Tank Wagon in green and black was issued during 1946-and would have been sent to the shopkeeper in trade boxes, so not individually boxed.
This example presents well with a vivid and shining deep original paint finish and complete and unmarked black ‘PETROL’ lettering on both sides. Original tyres are well-shaped save for one which has a flat spot. Black ridged wheels. Complete with an intact radiator and headlight assembly (usual dulling now0. 20 mph label is still present at the rear.
Type 2:
Occasional little mark to the paint finish and note that one front wheel arch has minor rough casting.
