Corgi 1127
Corgi 1127 Simon Snorkel Fire Engine. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce issue in card box with CARD PACKING INSERT. From The Pennsylvanian Collection.
Notes
A popular Corgi model from the Major Packs Emergency Vehicle range of toys.
The Simon Snorkel fire engine was made between 1964-74. This example has a Bedford cab, spun wheels, 6 firemen, water cannon, extending and rotating boom. Original fine tread tyres run well. Version with gold boom jointed pipes.
Occasional little mark as you might expect.
Harder to find version with fitted card insert (instead of the polystyrene tray).
The lift-off lid card box is an early issue with lots of bright atmospheric artwork on the lid.
Barely any wear at all which has vibrant strong colours and minimal wear.
