Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
The first we handled in this colour shade. A very close to mint example finished in metallic ruby red with original silver details, off-white interior, black steering wheel. Original sliver details. Early issue with separate tyres/wheels.
Original piece of red luggage:
Just the occasional little mark.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is bright and complete. Typical edge rubbing and wear and a small area of surface loss on an end flap. Tiny tear.
