Dinky 106
Dinky 106 'The Prisoner' Mini-Moke. Scarce version with CHROME windscreen frame & light brown running boards & side details. Very near mint (small lower section of wheel cover missing)/boxed, with clear plastic packing strip. From the personal collection of a professional TV & Film Set Designer.
Notes
Issued between 1967-70, and inspired by The Prisoner’ t.v. series from this period, this Mini Moke model is in very close to mint condition with a white finish, chrome windscreen frame, light brown finish on running boards & side sections, complete red and white striped canopy, intact white plastic aerial and intact bonnet label, front and rear ‘Taxi’ labels. Shiny spun wheels.
As is nearly always the case, there is a small crack to the plastic cover for the spare wheel and a small (easily overlooked) section of the lower portion of the spare wheel cover missing.
The removable canopy is complete with all four plastic struts intact.
The colourfully illustrated pictorial card box is bright, clean and complete. Small part puncture on one face and a fleck of surface loss at an end flap. With clear perspex packing strip.
Not an easy variation to find.
