Notes
Issued between 1959-64. This is such an eye-catching 1st issue Mobilgas Tanker, and a more difficult find with flat spun wheels. Vivid and all original scarlet finish with intact transfers on both sides.
Bright silver trim. Window glazing. Black radial tyres. Shiny base. Close scrutiny finds a few additional strokes of later paint and a small touch-in to the white background of the rear transfer. Minor as-made ‘bubble’ to the transfer on one side. Mere dot or two to the paint finish.
The lift-off lid box is bright, clean and complete. Little edge scuff and very light wear. Original packing card is still present too.
