A scarce and popular Corgi Gift Set_.
The set comprises:
1) Corgi 321 Mini Cooper ‘S’ in bright red finish with a pinkish-white roof, jewelled head and spotlights, bold racing number ‘52’ on both sides (small corner nick to the transfer background on one). Very nearly complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot, shaped spun wheels with suspension. Near mint plus. Tiny mark or two to the paint.
2) Corgi 322 Rover 2000 in lustrous metallic maroon finish with a white roof, notably complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot. Complete racing number ‘136’ on both doors, too. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled headlights and “Trans-O-Lite” lights. Occasional tiny mark to the paint finish. Very near mint.
3) Corgi 323 Citroen DS19 in pale blue finish with a white roof. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled lights, intact aerial on the roof. Complete racing number ‘75’ on both sides, intact rally labels on bonnet and boot. Very near mint.
The colourfully-illustrated detailed card plinth on which each car sits is in clean, bright and complete condition. This makes such a pleasing backdrop for the models. No wheel slot tears and in fact, all the little wheel slot push-out pieces are still present, too.
This set comes with two original packing pieces i.e. the plain rectangular card piece which is in the base of the plinth, so protecting the wheels slots, and the white card packing piece which is placed on top of the models.
One card packing piece which wraps around one of the models is present too.
The pictorial all-card outer box is complete and deeply-coloured. Light age/handling wear includes a little surface grubbiness.
