Notes

Acknowledged in ‘The Great Book Of Dinky Toys’, this collector in the U.S. brings his 37 year collection to QDT. Included are some very rare items and a wealth of period literature and catalogues.

A desirable classic Dinky truck with a lustrous black and yellow finish, dark blue roof light and window glazing, issued between 1961-66. More difficult to find issue with a silver blade.
Raising and lowering mechanism for the snow plough works correctly. Presents well with such vibrant colours.

Bright baseplate with spare wheel stowed.
Little chip on the tailgate and a few tiny marks besides. Couple of lightly discoloured patches on one top side edge of the back of the truck, but as-made.
A more difficult find in the picture box (usually found in a striped Supertoys box). Light wear only. Period U.S. Price label on a short lid end.
Comes with the original card packing piece, too.
