Notes
A sought-after Corgi model issued between 1970-72 in the first type box.
The model has a gleaming lime green finish with jewelled headlights, bright red interior, gold steering wheel. A rare find with ‘Red Spot’ Whizzwheels.
In very close to mint condition (we note one factory assembly chip to a headlight rim).
With fighting bull still slotted onto its stiff plastic stand.
The car and bull stand on a clean and fresh polystyrene inner.
The blue and yellow card and cellophane outer box is very bright and clean with barely any wear at all. Revised Specification strip label as well as the circular ‘Revised’ Label. Notably the cellophane is original and puncture-free.
Gives the impression of old shop stock. WE are reluctant to prise open the end flaps which appear never to have been opened. Please note that it may be necessary to prise open one set of end flaps in order to secure the model for posting to the new owner.
Corgi Brochure from 1970:
Note the Lamborghini finished in red with Red Spot Wheels.
