Dinky 252
Dinky 252 Pontiac R.C.M.P. Car. Very near mint/boxed, with packing ring. From The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
This Pontiac Parisienne Police vehicle was made between 1969-74. It has an original deep blue paint finish, red light on the roof and both retractable twin aerials (so often they snap off – nice to see them complete, although it is often in the operation of them that they snap, so we have not elevated them). White front doors on both sides with intact RCMP Crests, Mountie figure is driving. I
Just the occasional tiny mark. No numberplates affixed.
The pictorial box is complete and brightly-coloured, with a crisp feel. Couple of very small end flap tears and a very small staple hole (or similar) on an end flap. Light wear besides. IT seems that the original owner has written (in French) that he purchased this model in London on 26th March, 1970.
Nice to see the original little packing card ring which fits over the roof light.
