Dinky 100
Dinky 100 Lady Penelope's Fab 1. Rare FLUORESCENT PINK issue in BUBBLE PACK. Very, very near mint/boxed. A beautiful example, with unopened clear plastic packet of accessories. From The Mayfair Collection at QDT.
Notes
Probably the most eye-catching of Dinky t.v related models! Unmistakeably fluorescent pink version which was produced a little later than the standard rose pink issue.
In all original, virtually mint condition, this model has a clear sliding roof, and both figures of Parker (driving) and Lady Penelope ensconced amidst the luxurious gold seating.
Small (probably factory assembly) mark on one side near the plastic canopy.
Silver base and spun wheels with concentric circles and central point. As-new original tyres.
None of the usual marks to the clear sliding roof which functions well. Very pleased to say that the bonnet emblem is intact as are the Fab 1 number plates front and rear (a little light crease to the rear numberplate). Six jewelled headlights.
This example comes with the full complement of rockets and harpoons in original clear plastic packet with the original tape which fixed it to the plinth still in place.
Card plinth on which the models sits is brightly-coloured and complete. Few light surface marks and the tape residue where the plastic packet of missiles & harpoons were affixed. The original bubble top is notably clear and intact – and free of splits.
