Dinky 154
Dinky 154 Hillman Minx Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce two tone issue in pale blue and cerise. From The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
Two-tone classic Dinky cars are always sought-after and of course in short supply! This example has a distinctive light blue and cerise finish, mid-blue ridged wheels, bright baseplate. Well-shaped original treaded tyres.
Few mere dots to the paint finish. Closest scrutiny finds a smudge of cerise paint at a roof edge (probably factory).
The bright pictorial box is clean and bright. Light wear includes a couple of tiny pen marks. Note the small part-puncture at an end flap. Shopkeeper’s lightly pencilled price at an end flap.
A difficult find in any condition.
