Corgi 200
Corgi 200 Ford Consul Saloon. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce two colour issue in GLOSS oyster over bright green. From The Lake District Corgi Collection.
Notes
The first Corgi Toys model issued – this car was made between 1956-61; the very first one colour examples would have been sold in the all-blue card boxes.
This particular version is finished in a distinctive gloss oyster shade with a bright green lower half, flat spun wheels. All original. Some of the expected rubbing at side body lines and front wheel arches. Shining silver trim. Well-shaped original tyres.
Shiny base, although note the light tarnished spots.
The early blue picture box is bright and complete. Light wear including edge rubbing and a tiny end flap edge tear.
