Corgi 223
Corgi 223 Chevrolet Impala "State Patrol". Very near mint/boxed. Paper label version. Original card packing piece. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
This U.S. Police Car was issued between 1959-61 and is in superb, all original condition, complete with intact aerial and bright and clean, intact paper ‘State Patrol’ labels on both sides (often they can become quite transparent with age). This car has a shining black finish with a silver stripe on both sides, detailed lemon interior, early flat spun wheels with suspension. Well-shaped, original fine tread tyres.
Occasional negligible mark to the lustrous paint finish.
The pictorial card box is complete and bright with quite a crisp feel. Light wear includes a small crumple.
Nice to see that this example comes complete with the card packing piece.
