A rare, large & impressive Set of Corgi Military models from 1959.Only 10,000 were made! It contains:
1115 – Bloodhound Guided Missile with
1116 – Launching Ramp
1117 – Loading Trolley
351 – R.A.F. Land Rover
350 – Thunderbird Guided Missile On Trolley
353 – Radar Unit
1106 – Decca Radar Airfield Van
All the contents are in original condition with all parts complete. A little minor wear to the models only, since they have been well protected in the upper and lower packing inserts. There are two Rocket Age leaflets included, one in colour. The outer box has a beautifully detailed picture on the lid which has largely escaped the wear that the rest of the box lid has suffered. There has been some surface removal and some tape repairs, as well as a part of one of the sides of the lid being replaced. The box base is fine and sound. Such an unusual set – most that have survived seem to have sustained damage to the outer box.
