A rare find, this is only the second we have ever offered for sale. Rich-mid-green finish on this Single Deck Bus with off-white band and complete ‘LODON TRANSPORT’ lettering in gold at the sides. Shining chrome Leyland radiator grille and lights. Grey wheels and fine original tyres. Intact ‘DORKING’ destination board and lovely vivid ‘Tri-ang Toys’ promotional transfer at the rear. Interior has green wooden seats. Metal steering wheel. Well-shaped original treaded tyres. ‘Push and Go’ friction drive mechanism works well.
Close to mint condition – couple of small roof scuffs.
Colourful card box is complete with all end flaps, although there is some wear and tear at end flaps ( one tear is quite significant and has been taped to prevent the end flap detaching). Storage and age wear besides, includes a couple of small part-punctures on the underside.
