Corgi 268
Corgi 268 The Green Hornet's 'Black Beauty'. Near mint/boxed, with greaseproof strip & card packing. Spun wheel issue. With full (unopened) Instruction Packet. Fresh box!
Notes
An exciting iconic T.V inspired Corgi model – typically harder to find than the James Bond models available during this period. Issued between 1968-72. This is a close to mint, all original example. Beautiful delicate roof logo is intact. Note that the radiator can close securely and does not gape open (flake of paint at this site). Suspension is present on three wheels only (but does not sag). Presents well with a glossy finish and as-new original tyres.
A few small blistered marks to the radiator.
This example comes with the Secret Instruction Packet which has never been opened. Inside, will be the Instructions, four scanners and four missiles. So the full complement.
The very attractive inner card stand has lots of atmospheric graphics. It is very crisp, bright and clean – couple of tiny slot tears.
The outer box is crisp, clean and colourful. Barely any wear – hard to find this good. With card packing piece and the elusive greaseproof strip which protects the delicate roof transfer. Corgi Club Membership Form.
