A sought-after example of this attractive Gerry Anderson’s Thunderbird model!
This Fab 1 model has a gleaming paint finish and jewelled headlights. Both figures of Lady Penelope and Parker are seated inside. Correct canopy for this late issue i.e. no pink lines. The canopy glides well. Complete with both number plates (light wear to the rear number plate), radiator emblem, six jewelled headlights, and correct silver painted baseplate/bumpers. Detailed cast wheels are correct for this issue.
Barely a mark to the pink paint finish. Several marks to the base. In all original condition.
The plinth is crisp with excellent fresh colours. Original tape residue where the clear plastic bag containing the rockets and missiles was affixed. The original bag is included and contains the correct 2 yellow missiles as well as four red harpoons.
The original plastic “bubble” lid is clear and feels supple. Nevertheless there is a split in the top section.
