Notes

issued by Corgi during 1969, this scarce and desirable set comprises:

1) Corgi 1148 Scammell Car Transporter with a gleaming red and white with all four yellow fixing clips intact. In very near mint condition. Occasional tiny mark, very light rub.

2) Corgi 345 MGC GT, a rare find in brilliant orange, black interior, jewelled lights and intact suspension on spoked wheels. Near mint plus condition with a few small marks and a factory retouch at a headlight surround. Fine original tyres. With correct black opening suitcase.

3) Corgi 340 Sunbeam Imp ‘Monte Carlo’ in bright metallic blue. Very near mint condition. Notably intact suspension on shaped spun wheels. Intact transfers throughout. A few very minor marks.

4) Corgi 201 The Saint’s Volvo. Very scarce issue in white with a red bonnet label and shaped spun wheels. Very close to mint condition!

5) Corgi 249 Morris Mini Cooper De-Luxe in black with a red roof and complete ‘wickerwork’ side panels. Suspension on detailed cast wheels. Late issue with the correct horizontal casting line on both front wings. Very near mint.

6) Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor in metallic maroon with suspension on detailed cast wheels. Near mint plus.

7) Corgi 339 Mini Cooper ‘S’ Monte Carlo in red and white with chrome roof rack and two spare tyres. THIS IS THE LATE MORRIS ISSUE WITH LARGE HEADLIGHTS. Complete racing numbers (minor age transparency). Intact rear number plates, front number plates have a central nick. Complete Monte Carlo labels at the front, small nick to the rear label. Couple of little rear bumper marks.

The outer box is complete, clean and bright. Note this is the rarest box version with an all-yellow box front.Carefully fitted replacement cellophane. Small neat repaired tear to one large end flap side edge. Few little corner scuffs and light wear. .
