This delightful, fresh Comet Wagon has an all original vivid deep green cab and chassis, deep orange back, and lighter green grooved wheels. Bright base. Working, intact hinged tailboard. Original grey, radial tyres are an excellent colour (couple of very light flat spots).
Correct for this box, this model has ‘Dinky Toys’ and not ‘Supertoys’ cast into the chassis. ‘418’ cast into the orange back underneath.
Very close to mint, original finish. Little chip at a rear edge and a couple of mere dots besides. Very light roof rub.
The blue and yellow box is fresh, bright and complete. ‘LF’ label.
‘LF’ (lead free) label still in place. Penned cross on one lid end.
