Dinky 156 Rover 75 Saloon. VIOLET BLUE and cream. Large print baseplate. Very near mint/boxed. With correct early single-colour spot at end flaps. Very scarce model from The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
A striking Rover Saloon! With a wonderfully vibrant intense violet blue and rich cream finish, this example was made between 1956-59.
Note that this example has the large print and 156 on the generally shiny baseplate (few tarnished spots).
In all original condition, with just the occasioanl very small mark.
The pictorial box has two-tone models shown and an early deep blue colour spot at end flaps. Light wear and grubbiness. Period pencilled price.
