This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection. Always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
Issued between 1953-54, this classic Dinky racer has an original pale green finish, white driver, racing number 7. Hard to find version (more often found slightly later as Dinky 235), particularly with black treaded tyres.
Marked as 23J on the base.
If you want to fault it, you could note a couple of rough casting marks.
The card picture box is bright, clean and complete, although as is so often the case, the driver has punctured the top surface of the box. Small end flap tear and handling wear at this site.
