Corgi 1127
Corgi 1127 Simon Snorkel Fire Engine. Near mint plus/boxed. Early issue in card box, with Mail Order Label. With leaflet. From The Inverness Collection.
Notes
A popular Corgi model from the Major Packs Emergency Vehicle range of toys.
The Simon Snorkel fire engine was made between 1964-74. This example has a Bedford cab, spun wheels, 6 firemen, water cannon, extending and rotating boom (few tarnished spots). Original fine tread tyres run well. Version with chrome boom jointed pipes.
Chip to the paint finish as you might expect where the boom rests. Few little marks besides.
Clean and fresh polystyrene tray.
The lift-off lid card box is an early issue with lots of bright atmospheric artwork on the lid.
Strong colours and light wear (including a couple of edge scuffs)only. A couple of light stains at a lid end. Note the period Mail Order Label still attached at this end.
Original leaflet is included.
