Notes
From the English casting of Dinky 104, the French Dinky factory made this version with concave metal wheels, a three-spoke cream steering wheel and of course, ‘Made in France’ on the base. In delightful, very close to mint condition, mere dot or two to the racing numbers. Vivid mid-green finish, driver, metal steering wheel, shiny base. Well-shaped supple original tyres. Issued during 1960-61.
The deep yellow pictorial box is clean, bright and fresh-looking. Crisp feel to the card. Small (quite easy to overlook) part-puncture caused by the driver’s head on one box face.
