Corgi Gift Set 11 London Transport Set - Routemaster Bus, Morris Mini-Minor, Austin Taxi & Policeman. Very near mint - very, very near mint/boxed. Early issue in blue & yellow window box & metallic blue Mini with CLEAR glass. From the 'Exclusively Mini' Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1971-72, this desirable London Transport Gift Set comprises:
1) Corgi 418 Taxi, in deepest maroon finish. Whizzwheels. In very near mint condition.
2) Corgi 468 Routemaster Bus ‘OUTSPAN’. In unused condition, this detailed bus with detailed cast wheels has complete labels/transfers throughout and includes both a driver and conductor.
3) Corgi 226 Mini, in an attractive metallic blue finish. Lemon interior and clear windows. In very near mint condition.
Policeman on point duty, with his white arm bands, directing the traffic on top of a plastic circular stand.
The polystyrene inner is bright, clean and intact.
The outer blue & yellow window box is complete and bright, with intact smooth original cellophane. Light age/handling wear only.
An unusual Gift Set issued for just a short time by Corgi, and aimed at the tourist market.
