Corgi 391
Corgi 391 James Bond Ford Mustang Mach 1. With UNPIERCED SPOKED WHEELS. Near mint plus/boxed Complete PALE LEMON James Bond Label - not sunfaded). Really fine box! Inspired by the film 'Diamonds are Forever'. From The Old School Collection.
Notes
This model was issued for one year only (1972) to coincide with the ‘Diamonds are Forever’ film release.
A sought-after James Bond Mustang model in close to mint condition.
The model has a striking deep vibrant red and black finish. High shine finish to the paint generally showing that this model has barely been handled. Not even a trace of a roof rub. Version with spoked detail wheels (unpierced).
A striking display piece.
Close inspection finds a small sweep of (later, well-matched) red paint on a wheel arch and a dot head-on.
The box is a very fine example with vibrant colours on crisp card. Particularly difficult to find such a fresh-looking label too! Note this is the paler lemon-yellow and vibrant red version. Smooth original cellophane is undamaged. Old shop stock quality box!
