Corgi Gift Set 8 Massey-Ferguson Agricultural Equipment. Excellent plus- very near mint/box wear, but complete. With card insert & Informative Slip. Very scarce set. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
This is a very hard set to find! Issued between 1959-62. This Gift Set comprises:
1) 1111 Massey-Ferguson “780” Combine Harvester. Early issue with metal tines (repaired break to one). Complete transfers.
Several retouches to the paint finish, visible upon close inspection.
Some marks to the paint finish besides.
2) 50 Massey-Ferguson ‘65’ Tractor in bright red and fawn, silver seat and steering wheel. Red plastic wheels. Near mint plus original condition. The transfers are complete on both sides.
3) 51 Massey-Ferguson Hydraulic Tipping 30 CWT Trailer in red and yellow finish with red plastic wheels. Very near mint.

This Gift Set comes with two lower packing pieces in which the items sit securely.
Upper packing piece too, with the original ‘drive belt’ (elastic band!) still in place.
The lift-off lid box is complete, although there is some notable wear particularly to the lid edge, as is nearly always the case.
Couple of seam repairs too. Colours are vibrant. Some handling/storage grubbiness and wear. No graffiti, unless you count the shopkeeper’s pencilled price on the box base underside.
