Dinky Gift Set 246 International GT Gift Set. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1969-73, this Gift Set comprises:
i) 187 De Tomaso Mangusta. This early issue has cast wheels, later issued with Speedwheels. Brightest orange-red and white finish (almost luminous) with complete racing number 7. Opening bonnet and gullwing engine covers. Gold engine and spare wheel visible. Occasional little mark.
ii) 215 Ford GT, in deep emerald green, jewelled recessed headlights, gold engine, dark blue and white stripe, spoked wheels.
iii)* 216 Ferrari Dino*, with a vivid metallic blue and black finish, intact racing numbers/Ferrari label on both sides, silver wire wheels, opening engine cover.
Deep orange-yellow card plinth is complete and unfaded. Minor age wear (little scuffs,small tear, surface marking etc).
Large window box is complete with original cellophane. Card looks clean , vibrant and fresh. Light part-puncture on one side edge and very light wear besides.
