Dinky 178
Dinky 178 Mini Clubman. Rare issue in METALLIC GREEN. Near mint plus/boxed. 1st we have ever offered for sale. From the "Exclusively Mini' Collection.Bids are invited - please see the relevant section on our Faq Page. QDT starting bid £75. Please note that QDT apply 10% buyer's commission, with a ceiling of £100.
Notes
More often found in bronze, less often in red – but this is the first we have ever seen in metallic green! One-piece black wheels and tyres (Speedwheels). Issued for a short time only, we surmise, at the start of the production run (1975-79), since it is presented in the red and yellow window box (clean, bright and fresh, with an unpunched header card and intact original cellophane).
The model has several little marks.
